Korean films always present romantic stories that touch the heart. Even the stories that are presented can make the audience feel like they fall in love so that they get carried away with feelings, aka baper.

The stories presented are varied. Starting from the love story between a rich man and a poor woman, a handsome man and an ordinary-looking woman to the promise of a married couple to live as long as possible.

The following romantic Korean films are reported from Cosmopolitan, Tuesday (11/23/2021).

1. The Beauty Inside

Every day Woo-jin wakes up as a different person. Sometimes he wakes up as a man, as a woman, and even as a child. But no matter how he physically changed, there was only one thing that never changed.

He falls in love with Yi-soo (Han Hyo-joo). And he also has feelings for her, despite the ordeal that changes the whole body. But the two have to find a way to make their relationship work.

2. 200 Pounds Beauty

Han-na (Kim Ah-jung) is a sex phone operator and a very talented singer who is forced to "ghost singing" for a pop diva named Ammy (Ji Seo-yun) for not being pretty. After getting fed up with Ammy's bullying, and her boss Sang-jun (Joo Jin-mo) admitting that they were just taking advantage of her, she attempts suicide.

Luckily, Han-na was saved by one of her clients. She then decided to undergo drastic plastic surgery to match the beauty standards of other Korean women.

3. Be With You

Woo-jin (So Ji-seob) becomes a single father who raises his son Ji-ho (Kim Ji-hwan) after his wife Soo-ah (Son Ye-jin) dies. But before he dies, Soo-ah promises to come back in the rain a year later. And by a miracle, Soo-ah is really back. However, he lost all his memories.

4. My Sassy Girl

A college student named Kyun-woo (Cha Tae-hyun) saves a drunk young woman (Jun Ji-hyun) from falling onto the train tracks. Since meeting, they have been constantly involved with each other, and in trouble. The two end up liking each other.

But their love did not run smoothly. There are challenges that they must go through starting from parents, blind dates, and parting letters in a time capsule.

5. Architecture 101

Seung-min (Eom Tae-woong) and Seo-yeon (Han Ga-in) first met 15 years ago in college in the Architecture 101 class. While they were working on a project together, they fell in love, but eventually broke up.

Seo-yeon wants to hire Seung-min to rebuild her house on Jeju Island. He refuses, but then his boss insists on working on the project which brings up their old sweet and bitter memories.

6. A Werewolf Boy

Soon-yi (Park Bo-young) is a sickly teenager with a chronic lung disease. He moved to the countryside hoping the fresh air would heal him. There, Soon-yi meets Chul-soo (Song Joong-ki), a mysterious boy who lives in a warehouse and doesn't behave like a human.

Soon-yi teaches him how to act like a human, and he also learns how to love.

7. Wonderful Nightmare

Yeon-woo (Uhm Jung-hwa) is a successful lawyer who falls into a coma after a tragic car accident. But while in heaven, she learns that her death was caused by a clerical error, and another woman with the same name should have died.

Meanwhile, she had to live the life of a housewife who also died in an accident for a month. And while playing the roles of wife and mother, she discovers that something has changed within her.

8. Cheese in the Trap

Seol (Oh Yeon-seo) is an ordinary college student who is also busy working part-time to help pay for his tuition. Meanwhile, Yoo-jung (Park Hae-jin) is a popular senior at university, who is known for his looks and kindness, despite coming from a wealthy family. One day, to Seol's surprise, he asks her out on a date.

9. Tune in for Love

Mi-soo (Kim Go-eun), a part-time worker at a bakery. He starts exchanging stories with college student Hyun-woo (Jung Hae-in) through a radio program. They continue to cross paths and fall in love, but the timing never seems to be on their side.

10. On Your Wedding Day

It has been 10 years since Woo-yeon (Kim Young-kwang) and his first love and best friend Seung-hee (Park Bo-young) separated. Now, he received an invitation to his wedding. The film follows Woo-yeon as he reminisces about the ups and downs of their relationship, and ends up attending Seung-hee's wedding.
